People Incorporated is seeking Skill Trainers (Male) to provide 1:1 instruction for youth with developmental disabilities enrolled in the DESE/DDS program. Services are in the family home and in community settings, with 3–6 hours per week depending on needs.

The role involves teamwork with family members and professionals, implementing behavior plans, and supporting daily living skills. The position is per diem, approximately 4 hours per week, with a pay rate of $25.30 per hour.

Qualificações

• Bachelor degree or relevant experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Knowledge of and respect for cultural diversity.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Work as part of a family team with other professionals in the individual’s care and training.
• Follow the behavior plan to help the individual learn skills.
• In-home support to develop daily living skills (ADLs/IADLs) including personal hygiene, chores, meal prep, laundry, etc.
• Plan and support community-based activities tailored to the individual’s strengths and interests.
• Understand and support the program’s goals and objectives.
• Provide transportation for the individual when needed.
• Document activities and report progress toward goals.
• Respond to meetings and information requests from supervisor; access the agency email weekly.
