Job summary

The Edinburg Center, Inc. is seeking Skills Trainers to work with youth and families in Natick, Framingham, MA, delivering DESE/DDS services in community settings.

Two levels are available: Skills Trainer 1 with at least 1 year of relevant experience, and Skills Trainer 2 with a degree and/or additional experience. We offer competitive hourly pay, flexible scheduling, and supportive supervision as part of our dedicated behavioral health team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of direct experience working with youth and families with serious emotional and behavioral needs or ASD.
• For Skills Trainer 2, a Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of relevant direct experience or an Associate’s with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; valid MA driver's license; must be 18+.

Responsibilities

• Implement, model, and monitor individualized behavioral goals and skill development plans.
• Assist Family Navigators with training caregivers and team members on behavioral strategies and skill development.
• Collaborate with families and other professionals to support individuals' progress.
• Monitor progress toward goals and maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide services in community settings while maintaining communication with the team.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) | DESE/DDS Services

LOCATION: Mobile position serving Natick, Framingham, MA

POSITION TYPE: Fee for Service (FFS)

Skills Trainer 1: $25.00/HR
Skills Trainer 2: $30.00/HR

Pay rate is determined by education and relevant experience.

Who You Are:

We are seeking Skills Trainers at two levels based on education and experience.

Skills Trainer 1:

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant direct experience working with youth and families with serious emotional and behavioral needs or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) required

Skills Trainer 2:

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or an approved human services field with at least 1 year of relevant direct experience; OR
• Associate's degree with at least 2 years of relevant direct experience working with youth and families with serious emotional and behavioral needs and ASD

Additional Requirements:

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems
• Ability to collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, and other professionals
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license, safe driving record, and reliable transportation required
• Must be at least 18 years old

What You Will Do:

As a Skills Trainer, you will work with youth and families receiving DESE/DDS services, helping individuals develop behavioral and daily living skills while supporting caregivers in implementing effective strategies.

• Collaborate with families and other professionals to support individuals' progress
