Job summary

Lost Nation Sports Park East in Willoughby, OH is seeking a part-time Skills Institute Instructor to lead soccer activities for ages 5–12. Create a safe, fun, structured environment and deliver weekly curriculum in a lively, supportive setting.

You will guide groups, communicate clearly with kids and parents, help with setup and planning, and participate in pre-shift trainings. Training and development opportunities are provided; uniforms are supplied and performance bonuses may apply.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a coach not required.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with supervisors and with customers.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
• Be able to work on your feet for an extended period of time.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Must have some prior soccer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and welcome participants in class.
• Explain program rules and policies to kids and parents.
• Adhere to safety rules for participants.
• Manage and organize daily lesson plans; weekly curriculum provided.
• Set up, clean up, and maintain the field.
• Attend pre-shift training and planning meetings.
• Continued coaches training throughout the seasons.
• Provide recommendation cards to students at session end.

Job Summary:

Provide a safe, fun, friendly, and structured environment for Skills Institute participants. As a Skills Institute Instructor, you will be responsible for leading groups of kids, ages ranging from 5 to 12 years old, through different soccer activities and development games while providing a fun, safe environment. Instructors need to be professional, great communicators, organized, safe, able to manage behaviors, and of course fun.

The position would be Part-time.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and welcome those participants in class
• Explain all program rules and policies to kids and parents
• Adhere to strict safety rules for Skills Institute participants
• Manage and organize daily lesson plans for classes. Weekly curriculum is provided
• Responsible for set up, clean up, and maintaining a field
• Attend pre-shift training and planning meetings before classes
• Continued coaches training throughout the seasons
• Providing recommendation cards to students at the end of each session
