Job summary

Sofive Soccer Center is looking for energetic, dependable, and kid-focused Skills Institute Coaches to join our team. You will lead structured weekly soccer classes for children ages 5 to 12, using our proven curriculum to develop technical skills, confidence, teamwork, and a lasting love for the game.

This part-time role offers a 13-week season with weekend availability and potential weekday shifts. No extensive coaching experience required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are

Qualifications

• Passion for soccer and youth development.
• Positive, energetic and encouraging attitude.
• Ability to keep children engaged in a group setting.
• Dependability and commitment to scheduled classes.
• Willingness to learn and develop as a coach.
• Previous playing, teaching, or coaching experience is helpful but not required.
• Successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging soccer sessions for children ages 5 to 12.
• Teach core skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, movement, and teamwork.
• Follow the Skills Institute curriculum and class structure.
• Create a positive, encouraging environment with appropriate challenge.
• Promote teamwork, perseverance, confidence, and sportsmanship.
• Build strong relationships with players and families.
• Represent Sofive and Skills Institute professionally and enthusiastically.
• Support special events and local marketing initiatives when needed.
