Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, DA tags, ICN’s, or verbal information and check tank/component for conformance. Layout as appropriate. Locate, fit, tack, weld, braze, clean, grind, remove and/or relocate hardware, etc. as necessary to produce per design and engineering specifications.
• Perform necessary quality checks to verify location of internal/external parts, and cleanliness and quality of all welds.
• Use fixtures, hand tools, clamps, welding equipment, etc. to perform work involving processes such as layout, wedging, shaping tanks, braze, repairing seams, etc.
• Utilize welding processes such as MIG, TIG, stick welds.
• Observe and report damage or defects; maintain clean work area; perform duties as directed.
• Meet team production target daily.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
