Job summary

Major Tool & Machine (MTM) in Indianapolis, IN seeks experienced Welders for second and third shifts. You will perform layout, fit-up, and welding to build complex assemblies, reading blueprints and tolerances to meet specifications. MIG and TIG welding experience is required; material knowledge includes carbon and stainless steels with aluminum and nickel alloys.

Robotic welding is a plus. You will join a large-scale contract manufacturing team with strong safety, quality and training

Qualifications

• Two years of trade school or equivalent welding experience.
• MIG and TIG welding experience required.

Responsibilities

• Build complex assemblies by layout, fit-up, welding and assembly operations.
• Certify welds to multiple specifications based on materials and processes.
• Read blueprints, sketches, drawings and specs to determine dimensions and tolerances.
