Job summary

Watlow in St. Louis, MO is hiring a Welder to produce high‑quality components using Mig, Tig and Plasma welders. This full‑time, day shift (6:45am–3:15pm) role involves preparing materials, setting up equipment, welding parts, and ensuring standards are met.

You will operate welding equipment in a manufacturing environment, read specifications, perform quality checks, and maintain tools. 1–3 years welding experience or a welding certificate preferred; ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work in

Qualifications

• 1–3 years welding experience in a manufacturing or light industrial setting or completion of a welding program/technical certificate.
• Ability to read and comprehend measurements and basic drawings/specifications.
• Read and comprehend measurements.
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods; lift up to 30 pounds.
• Able to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and/or parts for welding to specifications.
• Set up and operate equipment needed to cut, stamp, bend, form metal parts for welding.
• Perform welding operations using Mig, Tig, and Plasma welders as needed.
• If required, use CNC plasma cutters and other welders to join components.
• Test welded products for reliability and finish; re-weld or grind as needed.
• Maintain and clean welding equipment; follow standard work.
• Collaborate with team to meet manufacturing standards.
