Job summary

Hendrickson in Mitchell, SD is seeking a Welder to assist in the timely production of welded parts and ensure quality welds meet standards. You will perform MIG, hand and robotic welding, inspect products, and report daily activities on work orders.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED and prior welding experience, reading blueprints, and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork in a non-temperature controlled facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior welding experience required.
• Ability to pass welding certification test.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints and geometric tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, hand and robotic welding operations to produce product at the required production and quality level as instructed.
• Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
• Report daily activities on work orders and other media as required.
• Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
