Job summary

Hendrickson in McKinney, TX is seeking a full-time welder to assist in producing welded parts and ensuring weld quality meets standards. The role involves MIG, hand and robotic welding, with emphasis on safe operations and adherence to blueprints and tolerances.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and prior welding experience, plus the ability to pass a welding certification test and a drug screen. Lifting upto 65 lbs is required.

• Must pass drug and alcohol screen.
• Able to read blueprints and geometric tolerances.
• Must be able to lift 65 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, hand and robotic welding operations to produce product at the required production and quality level as instructed.
• Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Accurately report daily activities on work orders and other media as required.
• Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Exercise safe working habits while operating machines, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture, participating in safety training sessions, and promptly reporting any safety concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
