Job summary

OPW - A Dover Company seeks a skilled welder for repair and maintenance of equipment and structures at our Allentown area facility. You will perform welding tasks to repair pipes, ductwork, and other components, inspecting welds and ensuring compliance with procedures.

Work may include cutting and trimming with welding equipment and fabricating simple fixtures as required, under moderate supervision.

Qualifications

• Welding experience and ability to perform repair tasks.
• Basic knowledge of job procedures and tools.
• Ability to follow standard procedures with moderate supervision.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain manufacturing production equipment, structures, pipes, and ductwork.
• Inspect weldments to identify weaknesses and fix as needed.
• May operate arc or gas welders and torches to fabricate or repair parts.
