Menasha Corporation in Piedmont, SC is seeking a welding technician to fabricate and repair metal components, interpret blueprints, and ensure weld integrity on production lines.

You will safely start up and shut down welding equipment, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement and 5S activities while maintaining a clean, safe workplace. This role supports Menasha Packaging and ORBIS in delivering packaging and supply chain solutions.

Qualificações

• Experience with welding processes and interpreting blueprints.
• Ability to operate welding machines safely with PPE.
• Wamiliarity with CI, 5S and continuous improvement practices.

Responsabilidades

• Fabricate and repair metal and other welding materials using appropriate welding techniques.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine welding processes.
• Inspect welds for structural soundness and accuracy.
• Start up and shut down welding machinery properly.
• Operate machines safely to meet quality, waste and efficiency standards.
• Troubleshoot machine/rack issues and adjust components as needed.
• Flex to work in non-welding areas when required.
• Engage in continuous improvement activities and 5S/STW practices.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
