Job summary

Altec Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled welder in Duluth, MN to fabricate, fit and cut to blueprint standards. You will perform GMAW and FCAW welding, read schematics, and maintain accurate time and quality records in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities include moving between work areas to support production, training new associates, and following safety policies while upholding Altec core values.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency with tape measures and basic shop math.
• Welding certification or relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, fit, and cut to meet blueprint standards.
• Perform GMAW and/or FCAW welding using appropriate equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics and work orders.
• Maintain daily time records and quality documentation.
• Follow safety policies and keep work area clean.
