SunCoast Restoration and Waterproofing in Destin / Fort Walton Beach Area, Florida, is seeking a Skilled Waterproofing Laborer. The role involves preparing surfaces, applying coatings, and restoration work on construction sites.

You will operate drills, forklifts, and other equipment, while following safety protocols and supervisor instructions. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of construction experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ construction work experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• E-Verify compliance.
• Drug screening.

Responsabilités

• Prepare surfaces for caulking, coating installation, and concrete restoration.
• Follow all written and oral instructions from supervisor.
• Operate hand and power tools (drills, forklifts, skid loaders) safely.
• Follow safety procedures and report violations.
• Adhere to OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols.
• Clean and prepare sites, erect scaffolding, and dispose of debris.
• Maintain a safe, clean job site and secure tools and materials.
• Report incidents to Safety Director/Supervisor/HR as required.
• Attend safety trainings and comply with safety directives.
• Load/unload construction supplies; travel to remote sites as directed.
• Comply with company code of conduct and punctuality.
• Travel between worksites as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. 1. Prepare surfaces for caulking, coating installation, and concrete restoration. Apply products as per manufacturer’s requirements.
2. 2. Follow all written and oral instructions given by your supervisor.
3. 3. Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, forklifts, skid loaders, and other tools as directed by management, properly and safely.
4. 4. Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.
5. 5. Adhere strictly to OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols.
6. 6. Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding, removing, and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging trenches.
7. 7. Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site daily.
8. 8. Report incidents immediately to the Safety Director, Supervisor, and Human Resources in accordance with incident reporting procedures established by the company.
9. 9. Attend all safety training sessions, understand all safety measures, and ask questions about any aspect not understood. Conduct all activities in a safe manner to avoid endangering oneself and other employees. Report unsafe job conditions and comply with all safety training and directives.
10. 10. Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment as directed.
11. 11. Travel out of town to work on remote job sites as directed by management.
12. 12. Adhere to the company's code of conduct.
13. 13. Report to work on time as directed by the Supervisor.

Pay Scale:

• Scale 1: No experience (Basic painting and safety)
• Scale 2: Painting, safety, sealants, caulking, scaffolding and swing stage
• Scale 3: Painting, safety, sealants, caulking, scaffolding and swing stage, forklift, arial lift ops, concrete and stucco
• Sacel 4: All of the above + site documentation, materials knowledge, near miss reporting and growth to foreman position.
