Ergon Asphalt Partners seeks a Skilled Tradesman for the Roanoke, VA facility. The role focuses on preventive and general maintenance of tanks and equipment, working closely with terminal operators and leadership to keep operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will bring strong organization, problem-solving, and housekeeping skills, with a willingness to learn and contribute to improving the facility.

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment.
• Ability to develop maintenance schedules for tanks and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, and housekeeping skills.
• Willingness to work with vendors and outside contractors.

Responsibilities

• Perform Terminal Operator I and II functions proficiently.
• Execute advanced terminal tasks including PMA, Emulsion, and Injecting Concentrate.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for tanks and equipment.
• Maintain parts inventory for repairs.
• Order required parts and equipment.
• Perform major maintenance and rebuild pumps.
• Assist with project work.
• Train terminal operators on inspections and maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Terminal Manager.
