Thai Summit America in Howell, Michigan is seeking a 3rd Shift Skilled Trades Die Finisher to repair and maintain tools to support Press Stamping production. This role focuses on finishing dies, implementing engineering changes, and ensuring safe, efficient work across shifts.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma and at least three years of Tool & Die experience, plus welding ability (MIG/TIG/ARC) and proficiency with common machine tools like grinders, mills and lathes.

3rd Shift Skilled Trades Die Finisher

Primary Job Function

Repair and maintain tools to support Press Stamping production.

• Complete a wide range of Tool & Die activities associated with engineering changes, project launches and die repair
• Instill good communications between shifts and departments for all activities
• Help with training of Tool & Die personnel
• Maintain equipment and a clean work environment

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 3 years of Tool & Die Experience in Tool & Die
• Complete required College Courses (may not be necessary based on experience)

Training Requirements or Equivalents

• New hire orientation

Health, Safety and Physical Demand Requirements

• Frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional lifting, climbing, carrying, pulling, griping, grasping, twisting, bending, stooping and reaching throughout the work day

• Ability to sit stand and walk for extended periods of time (8 hours or more)
