Job summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC is seeking a skilled Steamfitter/Pipefitter to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on steam piping systems, boilers, and related equipment for our commercial clients. You will install, adjust, repair, and test gauges, valves, pumps, and automatic controls; document work orders in CMMS; and coordinate outages while ensuring safety and compliance with local codes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years maintenance experience in Plumbing for commercial environments preferred.
• Experience with condensate piping systems preferred.
• Cutting and threading pipe experience preferred.
• Experience in start-up and shut down procedures surrounding high pressure steam preferred.
• Must be able to perform preventive and corrective maintenance responsibilities.
• Must be able to work general trade problems.
• Must be a self-starter and motivated.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and be on call when needed.
• DL NUMBER - Driver's License, Valid and in State required.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost estimate for steam projects beyond PMs and CMs on steam related pipe systems.
• Responsible for every aspect of installation and maintenance of piping systems associated with steam.
• Install and repair gauges, valves, pumps, and automatic controls related to steam.
• Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of low/high pressure steam systems for heating and hot water loops.
• Establish and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance on steam system.
• Complete all documentation required in CMMS and manage work orders.
• Schedule outages when routine repairs are needed.
