Aufgaben

• Install piping on new construction and existing facilities maintenance or modernization projects.
• Install piping of various materials (carbon steel, cast iron, copper, plastic, fiberglass, stainless steel, and other alloys).
• Work from plans, drawings, or sketches; disassemble, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain steam boilers, hot water boilers, and gas furnaces.
• Maintain, repair, and replace thermostats, pumps, gauges, valves, fans and air compressors.
• Install and repair HVAC systems, boilers, steam lines, and gas lines; insulate pipes and boilers.
• Drive a District service truck and work with District staff and outside contractors.
