Job summary
Interstate Mechanical Corporation (IMCOR) is hiring an experienced Sheet Metal Shop Journeyman for our HVAC fabrication shop in Arizona. Join a shop-focused role to fabricate and assemble commercial and industrial HVAC sheet metal products based on blueprints, submittals, and project specs.
Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of HVAC sheet metal experience, strong fabrication skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of HVAC sheet metal experience.
- Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and submittals.
- Commercial and/or industrial HVAC experience.
- Able to measure and fabricate from project specs with accuracy.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble HVAC sheet metal products and components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and submittals.
- Complete fabrication according to project specifications.
- Measure, cut, form, and assemble sheet metal materials.
- Produce accurate, quality fabrication work.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow shop procedures and IMCOR safety requirements.
- Perform additional sheet metal trade-related assignments as needed.
