Job summary

Interstate Mechanical LLC is hiring a Sheet Metal Apprentice in Phoenix, AZ to learn fabrication, installation and HVAC duct systems on residential and commercial projects. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals eager to enter the sheet metal trade.

You will assist journeymen, measure, cut and assemble components, and use hand and power tools safely. We offer weekly pay, a benefits package, direct deposit and free PPE, with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong willingness to learn a skilled trade.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeymen and technicians with sheet metal fabrication and installation
• Measure, cut, and assemble sheet metal components under supervision
• Help install HVAC duct systems on residential and commercial job sites
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
