Job summary

Northern Contours, Inc. in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Skilled Production Associate for full-time, on-site work. You will perform tasks in production including building doors, cleaning prior to shipping, machine operation and packaging, while following standard work methods and safe practices.

You will work in a team, notify supervisor of issues, maintain a clean area, and follow policies. The role requires ability to perform basic math and use measuring tools, with prior production experience

Qualifications

• Some production experience preferred.
• Must be able to work in varied climates within a warehouse.

Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Perform all tasks involved in the production of Northern Contours’ company products. This may include building doors, cleaning prior to shipping, machine operation and packaging. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. Understand and practice respectful workplace habits and actions.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Manufacturing environment which requires precaution, training and safety equipment (including safety glasses, ear plugs, closed toe shoes, gloves, etc.).
• Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts while performing job.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to move and handle product without damage to the product.
• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks while staying focused.
• Must be able to stand for eight (8) hours or more per day, with bending and twisting.
• Must be able to lift, push or pull up to fifty (50) lbs.
• Must be able to use hands and fingers, to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Must be able to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
