Qualifications

• Previous professional painting experience required.
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation and finishing.
• Experience with skim coating and drywall repair preferred.
• Must produce clean lines and professional finishes.
• Reliable and able to arrive at job sites on time.
• Able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must have basic painting hand tools.
• Comfortable working on residential and commercial projects.
• NYC construction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interior and exterior painting tasks.
• Prepare walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and other surfaces.
• Patch holes, cracks, and damaged areas.
• Skim coat and prepare walls as needed.
• Sand, caulk, prime, and seal surfaces.
• Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
• Paint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, baseboards, and finishes.
• Protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and surroundings.
• Perform touch-ups and punch-list work.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow job-site safety requirements.
• Work independently or as part of a crew.
