Fundamental in Camden, SC is seeking a skilled painter to perform interior and exterior painting duties across local nursing facilities from Cheraw to Lake City. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, with mileage reimbursement for travel over 30 miles round trip.

The role requires at least 3 years of painting and related work and a valid driver’s license. The position emphasizes preparing surfaces, maintaining supplies, and protecting existing finishes while delivering quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Three years of painting, plaster, drywall repair and finishing experience.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to travel locally as needed.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain painted, drywall surfaces, masonry surfaces and popcorn ceilings.
• Maintain inventory of painting and repair supplies.
• Protect surfaces with masking tape, drop cloths and coverings to keep them paint-free.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, filling holes and cracks, and sanding smooth.
• Clean machines, equipment and work areas using water, solvents and other aids.
