Job summary

Warren Barr Oak Lawn is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help keep the facility in top condition, ensuring the physical environment is safe and well-maintained for residents. You will handle repairs, monitor equipment, and coordinate with contractors to support ongoing operations.

The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork in a Gold Seal of Approval® post-acute and nursing care setting located in Oak Lawn, IL.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Maintenance Assistant experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!

Responsibilities

• Ensure the physical aspects of the facility are in proper working order.
• Perform repair tasks throughout the facility.
• Assist with scheduling of outside contractors for extensive repairs.
• Monitor facility equipment and facility system maintenance schedules.
• Perform routine maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
