Qualifications

• Licensed in Minnesota as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or RN.

As we continue to expand our rehabilitation services, we are seeking a dedicated Lymphedema Specialist to join our interdisciplinary team and provide specialized care to residents affected by lymphedema and related conditions.

Position Summary: The Lymphedema Specialist is responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering lymphedema therapy services to residents with chronic swelling and lymphatic disorders. This role involves working closely with the nursing and rehab teams to develop individualized care plans, provide manual lymph drainage, and educate staff and residents on prevention and management strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate residents with or at risk for lymphedema and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer manual lymphatic drainage, compression therapy, and appropriate exercises.
• Document treatments and progress in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with nursing, physical therapy, and occupational therapy teams to ensure integrated care.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on lymphedema prevention, self-care, and maintenance strategies.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on resident response and progress.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Registered Nurse in Minnesota.
• Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) from a recognized program required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
