Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a PRN Housekeeping Assistant for Skilled Nursing at Bel Air at Teravista in Round Rock, TX. The role involves routine cleaning of patient rooms, common areas, and facilities, following safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities include sanitizing areas, using proper chemicals, reporting repairs, and assisting with supplies while maintaining patient/resident safety. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience in institutional housekeeping or maintenance is helpful.
• Experience in the use of floor-care equipment is helpful.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily per facility protocols.
• Uses proper chemicals in proper portions; may mop floors.
• Empties trash containers, replaces liners, and disposes of trash properly.
• Vacuums carpets as directed by Supervisor.
• Washes and dries windows with proper chemicals and equipment.
• Reports repair needs to Supervisor or maintenance department as appropriate.
• Requests needed supplies and equipment from Supervisor.
• Identifies and corrects safety hazards and abides by safety rules.
• Has reviewed Cantex Continuing Care Network Policy and Procedures for Abuse Prevention and enforces it.
• Attends weekly in-services, understands, and complies with Patient Care Management Systems.
• Responsible for assuring patient/resident safety.
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
