Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant for a part-time role at Crestview Court, Cedar Hill, TX. You will perform scheduled housekeeping tasks, including cleaning patient rooms, common areas, and offices, following facility protocols and safety guidelines.

The position supports daily operations and contributes to a clean, safe environment for residents. Experience in institutional housekeeping is helpful; English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in institutional housekeeping or maintenance is helpful.
• Experience in the use of floor-care equipment is helpful.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily in accordance with facility protocols.
• Uses proper chemicals in proper portions for cleaning; mop floors as directed.
• Empties trash, replaces liners, and disposes of trash in proper receptacles.
• Vacuum carpets as directed by supervisor.
• Washes and dries windows using proper chemicals and equipment.
• Reports repair needs to supervisor or maintenance department as appropriate.
• Requests needed supplies and equipment from supervisor.
• Identifies and corrects safety hazards and follows safety rules.
• Familiar with Cantex Continuing Care Network policy on abuse prevention.
• Attends weekly in-services and complies with Patient Care Management Systems.
• Applies duties to ensure patient/resident safety.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
