Job summary

Avantara Watertown is seeking day shift and evening shift Cooks to join a friendly, caring and supportive team. You will prepare meals to meet residents' dietary needs and ensure high quality, safe dining experiences at Avantara Watertown.

Responsibilities include following recipes for large-volume meals and recording temperatures to maintain food safety. Prior SNF foodservice experience is preferred, with training provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!

Responsibilities

• Prepare and ensure residents receive the appropriate food items for each meal in accordance with dietary needs.
• Record temperatures and follow recipes for preparing large volumes of food to maintain safety and quality.
