Job summary

Avantara North is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our caring team and provide residents with one of their daily highlights—great meals prepared to meet dietary needs and quality standards.

You will help prepare large-volume meals, monitor temperatures, follow recipes, and ensure safety and consistency for residents’ dining experiences. Some prior Skilled Nursing foodservice experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10th grade education.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents meeting dietary requirements and high standards of quality.
• Ensure safe food handling by recording temperatures and following recipes for large volumes.
• Deliver meals to residents with care and attention to detail.
