Responsibilities

  • Support mobility and exercise routines to promote physical health and prevent complications.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, adhering to infection control and safety standards.

About the Role:

The Skilled Nursing Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care within a skilled nursing facility. This position is responsible for providing compassionate and attentive support to residents, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring their comfort and safety. The CNA will work every other week from 11 PM to 7 AM, collaborating closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans. This role demands a strong commitment to patient dignity, effective communication, and adherence to healthcare regulations and protocols. Ultimately, the CNA contributes significantly to the overall well‑being and recovery of residents by fostering a supportive and respectful care environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Georgia.
  • Completion of a state‑approved CNA training program.
  • Basic understanding of patient care procedures and safety protocols.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in a skilled nursing or long‑term care facility.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems ( Care)
