Job summary

Cascadia Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Kruse Way Post Acute in Lake Oswego, OR. This PRN role covers all shifts (day, evening and night) with a minimum of two shift pickups per month and requires dependable attendance and patient-centered care.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, document care, and work under supervision to support rehabilitation and 24-hour nursing care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid CNA Oregon certification and CPR required.
• Six months experience in a long term-care environment preferred.
• Point Click Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers nurse call system to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, bathing and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with eating.
• Documents ADLs, resident cares, and device use as directed.
• Takes and records vitals and reports changes to the team.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Skilled Nursing

Status: PRN

Shifts: All (day, evening, and noc), must be willing to pick up across all shifts. Minimum of two shift pickups per month.

Pay: $24.80 - $30.80/hour based on experience

Shift Differentials and Incentives: $1/hour additional on evening shift & $1.50/hour on noc shift.

Under supervision, a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides basic nursing assistance and assists residents with daily living activities.

Essential Functions

• Answers nurse call system to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with eating.
• Assists residents with range of motion exercises, and movement to/from wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assists resident with turning and positioning in bed.
• Assists resident with ambulation as indicated in the facility.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed.
• Documents ADLs, resident personal cares, and device use on flow sheets or task sheets as directed.
• Attends interdisciplinary meetings as needed to provide input into selected resident’s plans of care.
• Documents restorative services provided following facility policies and procedures.
• Assists facility staff to provide person-centered cares based on indicated preferences.
• Ensures punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts.

• Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s policies and procedures, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.

This position is represented by SEIU Local 503 and is subject to the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Licenses/Certification

• Valid certification as a CNA Oregon.
• Valid CPR certificate required.

Experience

• Six months experience in a long term-care environment preferred.
• Point Click Care experience preferred.
