Sunrise Senior Living in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Skilled Nursing Administrator to provide leadership and operational oversight of the Skilled Nursing Center, ensuring high-quality resident care in compliance with regulations and Sunrise standards.

You will lead daily operations, develop policies, oversee care planning and MDS processes, manage the department budget, recruit and develop staff, and partner with leadership to drive engagement and quality improvement across the campus.

Qualifications

• Experience in leadership of a Skilled Nursing Center or similar LTACH/geriatric care setting.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Skilled Nursing Center in alignment with regulatory and Sunrise standards.
• Develop, update and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance and quality care.
• Oversee care planning, MDS processes and coordination of resident services.
• Prepare for and participate in surveys and regulatory inspections.
• Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally.
• Monitor medication administration and treatment schedules for accuracy and safety.
• Manage department budget, labor and financial performance.
• Lead recruitment, staffing, performance management and team development.
• Partner with leadership to drive engagement, quality improvement and operational excellence.
