Qualifications

• Licensure: Current state administrator licensure required.
• Education: A bachelor's degree is required in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Gerontology, or related discipline.
• Experience: Must be at least 18 years of age and have a strong track record of successfully managing, leading, and developing teams in a senior living management role.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with residents, families, team members, and the community.
• Knowledge: Understanding of healthcare regulations, medical terminology, compliance, and med management protocol.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a resident-first focus and foster staff development to create a nurturing environment.
• Cultivate teamwork and open communication among all staff members to support residents.
• Uphold high standards of care with a focus on continuous learning and improvement.
• Develop and oversee the facility's budget, monitor expenses, occupancy, and revenue; identify cost-saving and growth opportunities.
• Build trusting relationships with residents and families; engage with the local community.
• Hire, train, and lead certified caregivers, nurses, and support staff to maintain high care standards.
• Coordinate medical, nursing, and administrative activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Manage building improvements and equipment upgrades to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
• Adhere to policies and ensure regulatory compliance.

Your Role as the Administrator

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Skilled Nursing Administrator to manage the day-to-day operations of our Skilled Nursing Community. As an Administrator, you’ll oversee all aspects of community management, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

What You’ll Do

• Leadership and Management: Lead with a resident-first focus, prioritizing compassionate care and staff development to foster a nurturing environment.
• Team Collaboration: Cultivate a culture of teamwork and open communication among all staff members to ensure exceptional care and support for our residents.
• Commitment to Excellence: Uphold the highest standards of care, with a focus on continuous learning and improvement to deliver the best resident experience possible.
• Fiscal Management: Develop and oversee the facility’s budget, monitor expenses, revenue, and occupancy rates, and identify opportunities for cost-saving measures and revenue growth.
• Community Engagement: Build trusting relationships with residents and their families, foster a sense of belonging, and engage with the local community to promote the facility’s commitment to quality care.
• Staff Recruitment and Development: Hire, train, and lead a dedicated team of certified caregivers, nurses, and support staff, ensuring high standards of service and care.

What You Bring

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, bend, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally lift and safely transfer residents.
