Horner Industrial Group is seeking a Manual Machinist to join our machining services team in Indianapolis. You will safely operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, drills, and related equipment to repair or fabricate parts from drawings and specifications. Proficient use of measurement tools and recording data is required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent; electrical/mechanical field preferred; or 3–6 months related experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow detailed written or oral instructions.
• Strong problem-solving and independent as well as team work capability.
• Ability to relate to associates at all levels and maintain urgency to meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate lathes, mills, presses, grinders, drills, and related equipment.
• Read dimensions with micrometers, calipers, bearing gauges; document measurements.
• Calibrate devices per standards; determine tolerances and fits from measurements.
• Record data and data calculations on forms; maintain reports.
