Job summary

Bader Management, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for Bierman Place in Minneapolis. You will perform building repairs, plumbing, HVAC, electrical tasks, and prep vacant units for occupancy.

This is a full-time, benefit-eligible role with no on-call or after-hours responsibilities. Schedule Mon-Fri 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with peak move-in time mid-August to mid-September requiring extra hours.

Qualifications

• Five years experience in property maintenance.
• Two years experience High Rise/ Multi-Family.
• Two years experience Pools.
• Two years experience Low Voltage.
• Two years experience Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled building maintenance including repairs to sinks, windows, floors and other parts of the building.
• Maintains the grounds as assigned including trash pick-up, shoveling, sweeping curb/dumpster area and landscape beds.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy including cleaning responsibilities.
• Install, repair and maintain plumbing; heating and cooling fixtures; perform metal fabrication and welding.
• Install and repair major and minor appliances ( washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwashers).
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues, diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, test and adjust to resolve issues.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed.
• Complete minor work orders such as snake toilets/drains, repair leaks, caulking, door closers, locks.
