Overview

Toyota Manufacturing is seeking a Skilled Maintenance Technician for our General Maintenance Department. The role carries responsibility for preventative maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with company standards.

Responsibilities

• Support production, quality, cost, and safety goals of the manufacturing operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, and modify PLCs, CNC machines, robotics, and other electronic equipment.
• Fabricate and machine components to repair jigs, fixtures, and parts for projects, equipment repair, maintenance work orders, and machine modifications.
• Document work performed by written or electronic methods.
• Continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related field.
• At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience or 3 years of industrial maintenance or military experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Demonstrated success in troubleshooting and problem‑solving.
• Technical knowledge in PLCs, computers and information technology, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, motion/motor control, welding, and machining.
• Available to work any shift, including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns.
• Bonus: Electrical degree, diploma, or certification; valid state journeyman’s electrical license; experience with robotics.

Compensation and Shift Details

• Starting hourly rate: $41.33 – $47.95.
• $1.50 hourly shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• Bi‑yearly bonus opportunity.
• Shift hours: 1st 6:00am – 2:45pm, 2nd 2:00pm – 10:45pm, 3rd 10:00pm – 6:45am.
