Job summary

Chandler Hall Health Services in Newtown, PA is seeking a part-time Skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform HVAC, carpentry, painting, flooring, and general building repairs. You will help maintain the facilities and grounds, including snow removal, and participate in on-call rotations, evenings and weekends.

A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required, with experience in long-term care preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a long-term care community preferred.
• Ability to work on call rotation including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic HVAC, carpentry, painting, flooring and general building repairs.

Chandler Hall, a non-profit, Quaker community, provides high-quality care for older adults in Newtown, Bucks County and offers a wide spectrum of services for individuals at all stages of the aging process including Community Living, Personal Care, Home Hospice, Independent Living, Respite Care, and Skilled Nursing Care.

We are seeking a part-time, skilled Maintenance Assistant to assist with basic HVAC, carpentry, painting, flooring, and general building repairs. Maintains grounds, including snow removal and some minor landscaping and debris clean up. Must be able to work on call rotation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a long term care community preferred.
• Ability to work on call rotation, which included evenings and weekends.
• Valid Driver's License
