Job summary

Chandler Hall in Newtown, PA is seeking a part-time skilled Maintenance Assistant to perform basic HVAC, carpentry, painting and flooring tasks, along with general building repairs. Responsibilities include grounds maintenance, snow removal, and some light landscaping, with on-call rotation required.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and prior experience in a long-term care setting preferred.

Chandler Hall, a non-profit, Quaker community, provides high-quality care for older adults in Newtown, Bucks County and offers a wide spectrum of services for individuals at all stages of the aging process including Community Living, Personal Care, Home Hospice, Independent Living, Respite Care, and Skilled Nursing Care.

We are seeking a part-time, skilled Maintenance Assistant to assist with basic HVAC, carpentry, painting, flooring, and general building repairs. Maintains grounds, including snow removal and some minor landscaping and debris clean up. Must be able to work on call rotation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a long term care community preferred.
• Ability to work on call rotation, which included evenings and weekends.
• Valid Driver's License
