Responsibilities

Shift: Days and Nights

Job Summary: The Skilled Machine Operator operates lithium-ion battery cell production machines in various departments, including clean-room environments. Responsibilities include machine operation, upkeep, material movement, basic analysis, and maintaining logs. The role requires active communication with team members and adherence to safety standards.

Essential Duties:

• Operate and maintain battery manufacturing process equipment
• Perform basic fault clearing and cleaning
• Follow SOPs and safety standards
• Assist in equipment maintenance and quality checks
• Guide and train team members
• Ensure safety and environmental regulations are followed

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): PPE such as Tyvek suits, safety shoes, gloves, glasses, masks, bump caps, and hazmat suits may be required.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED; AA/AS preferred
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking

Preferred Qualifications:

• Data analysis skills
• Certification in Train the Trainer program
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to operate quality equipment and motivate team members
• Safety-conscious attitude
• Certification in forklift and pallet jack operation

Physical Demands: The role involves sitting (10%), walking (20%), standing (40%), and lifting (30%) up to 35 lbs. frequently.
