Join Our Team as a Skilled Machine Operator at Amcor

Amcor is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Shelbyville - Liquids production plant as Skilled Machine Operators. We offer various shifts, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Shift Options

• Slitter Operator: 2-2-3 12-hour Straight Days, 7:00-7:00
• Press Operator: 2-2-3 12-hour Straight Nights, 7:00-7:00

Every other weekend off!

Starting Pay

• Slitter Operators: $19+/hour (based on experience)
• Press & Lamination Operators: $22+/hour (based on experience)
• Night shift premium: $1.50/hour

Job Responsibilities

Press Operators

• Operate, support, and troubleshoot press lines ensuring safety and quality standards
• Complete all required paperwork accurately
• Lead changeovers and support continuous improvement initiatives

Slitter Operators

• Operate slitting, core cutting, or rewind machines to meet specifications
• Perform quality checks and maintain safety standards

Lamination Operators

• Set up and operate lamination equipment, ensuring safety and quality
• Train team members and participate in continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience in manufacturing preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Basic computer skills required
• Good visual acuity and color recognition
