Job summary

Trinity Hills of Knoxville seeks a dedicated Nursing Supervisor to enhance resident care and supervise the Resident Services/Nursing Department. Responsibilities include medication administration, admissions, and daily living assistance as needed.

You will maintain required logs, participate in staff evaluations, and ensure a safe, compliant environment while coordinating with the DORS/executive director for incident follow-up. Strong communication and HIPAA adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–2 years related experience.
• Valid state nursing license is required.
• Experience in assisted living or healthcare environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees in the Resident Services/Nursing Department.
• Assist with admission of new residents and daily living activities as needed.
• Administer prescribed medications with accuracy and ensure proper medication handling.
• Maintain logs, service plans, progress notes, and monthly summaries.
• Participate in evaluations and provide feedback to associates.
• Maintain a safe environment and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Respond promptly to resident and family requests, including after-hours calls.
• Train and direct staff per policies and laws.
• Investigate incidents and coordinate with DORS/executive director for follow-up.
• Ensure compliance with ALF regulations and safety practices.
