Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs


• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals


• Apply comprehensive knowledge of physiology and anatomy to develop effective massage strategies that address pain management and muscle tension


• Communicate clearly with clients about treatment plans, expected outcomes, and post-session care instructions


• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments performed, client progress, and any relevant medical information in compliance with health regulations


• Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and maintaining equipment standards


• Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and certifications

Experience

• Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)


• Proven experience delivering diverse massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage modalities


• Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practices


• Prior experience working in spas or occupational health settings is highly desirable


• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment options and health concerns


• Experience managing pain relief programs and understanding pain management principles is preferred


• Familiarity with client assessment procedures and customer service excellence in a wellness or healthcare environment

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
