Job Summary:

We are seeking a Skilled Laborer with Carpentry Experience to join our team. In this role, you will support worksite operations through manual labor tasks. This may include keeping the worksite clean through the collection of trash, operating power tools, setting up temporary structures, or other necessary tasks. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with the ability to meet the physical demands of the job. Be willing and able to travel; some of our locker and office installs range from 3 plus hours away to Florida.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain a clean work environment by picking up trash, excess building materials, or other potentially hazardous products in your work area or company vehicle.
  2. Assemble/install lockers, office furniture, and bathroom partitions.
  3. Transport materials and equipment from one location to another.
  4. Operate power tools and/or industrial equipment.
  5. Construct, transfer, and tear down temporary structures such as scaffolding and steel buildings.
  6. Perform other manual labor tasks as required by the foreman or supervisor.
  7. Report any unsafe conditions or equipment in need of repair.

Qualifications:

  1. Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and standing for long periods.
  2. Strong attention to detail.
  3. Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  4. Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
  5. Knowledge of power tools and industrial machinery is preferred.
  6. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  7. Additional certifications or apprenticeship experience is preferred but not necessary.
  8. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  9. Ability to pass PA state police criminal record check and PA child abuse history certification (we sometimes work in a school setting).
