Responsibilities

As a Skilled Laborer/Groundman, you will support all phases of utility construction for various telecom projects. You believe in doing the job right, being the best, and are up for the challenge.

CDL REQUIRED

In addition, you will:

1. Perform manual tasks such as digging trenches, unloading materials, and preparing job sites with hand tools like shovels, rakes, and picks.
2. Work at outdoor utility construction sites.
3. Transport heavy equipment to and from the job site daily.
4. Build and maintain aerial and underground cable systems.
5. Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field.
6. Learn and train to use various tools and equipment.

Qualifications

About You:

• Safety-conscious and attentive to detail.
• Proven track record of completing quality work.
• Enjoys hands-on problem-solving and tackling hard problems.
• Seeking long-term projects.
• Team-oriented and willing to get hands dirty.
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Interested in learning telecom construction trades like Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, etc.
• Motivated to make an impact on your community and prefer to be home daily.
