Job summary

Kokosing is hiring Skilled Laborers for immediate openings at Wallops Island, VA and Staunton, VA. The role involves moving between tasks on construction projects, with supervision as needed, and includes duties from traffic control to concrete finishing and pipe work.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year related experience and/or training.
• Preferred experience with structural steel, bridge/utility/road work
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memo
• Add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply/divide with 10s and 100s
• Follow directions and handle basic hand tools

Responsibilities

• Drive work trucks as needed.
• Perform maintenance of traffic and flagging.
• Site housekeeping duties.
• Assist with measuring distances from grade stakes and stakes.
• Bolt, nail, align and block up under forms.
• Signal operators of construction equipment to assist alignment and movement.
