Job summary

Kokosing is hiring Skilled Laborers for sites in Wallops Island, VA and Staunton, VA. These roles require adaptability to move between tasks across multiple construction projects and operate with or without supervision.

Responsibilities include site housekeeping, measuring from grade stakes, assisting with formwork, concrete work, pipe installation, flagging, and equipment signaling. Minimum one year of related experience preferred; physical tasks involve lifting up to 100 pounds and standing

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year related experience and/or training.
• Preferred experience with structural steel, bridge/utility/road work.
• Ability to read simple instructions and use basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive work trucks as needed.
• Perform maintenance of traffic and flagging.
• Assist with measuring distances from grade stakes and setting stakes.
• Assist with leveling earth and forms, and with concrete work.
• Assist with pipe installation and scaffolding.
• Maintain job site housekeeping and safety.
