Job summary

PC Construction Company is seeking a Skilled Laborer in Vergennes, Vermont. You will perform general labor on construction sites, assist carpenters and operators, and help prepare sites for building projects.

Typical duties include loading/unloading materials, mixing and pouring concrete, and keeping work areas clean. Must be able to travel to project sites across the state as needed and contribute to a safe, efficient job site.

Qualifications

• Experience performing physical labor on construction sites.
• Able to operate hand and power tools as directed.
• Willingness to assist carpenters, equipment operators and other workers.
• Comfort with site cleanup, material handling and concrete work.
• Flexibility to travel to various project sites within Vermont.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare construction sites for erection of structures.
• Unload and load materials as needed and assist crew.
• Tend machines, mix and pour concrete per lead instructions.
• Support carpenters, operators, and other site staff as directed.

Job description

PC is seeking a Skilled Laborer in Vergennes, Vermont. Responsible for performing physical labor at construction sites. Such as but not limited to cleaning and preparing construction sites for the erection of structures and buildings. May operate hand and power tools, unload and load materials, tends machines, mixes concrete, pours concrete, and assists carpenters, equipment operators, and other construction site workers as directed by their leadman or foreman.

This position has a pay range of $22 - $25 per hour, depending on experience, in addition to an extensive benefits package that includes company stock, and a profit-sharing bonus.
