Job summary

PC Construction Company is seeking safety- oriented Pipelayer Helpers in Vergennes, VT, with at least two years of experience. You will assist with excavating, trenching, hand digging, and spotting utilities, and help with layout, assembly, and installation of piping and mechanical equipment for air, chemical, and water systems.

Preference given to candidates with ductile iron installation experience and an interest in water/wastewater construction.

Qualifications

• At least two years of pipelayer experience required.
• Safety-conscious and reliable worker.

Responsibilities

• Assist with excavating, trenching, and hand digging.
• Spot existing utilities and assist with layout, assembly, and installation of piping and mechanical equipment for air, chemical, and water systems.
• Assist with ductile iron installation (preferred).
• Local applicants with interest in water/wastewater construction preferred.

Job description

This position has a pay range of $24 - $28 per hour, depending on experience, in addition to an extensive benefits package that includes company stock, and a profit-sharing bonus.
