ACE is seeking Skilled Laborers for wastewater construction projects on active sites in the Mid-Atlantic region. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of construction experience, are highly motivated, able to travel, and ready to contribute to a safe, efficient work environment.

Responsibilities include rigging heavy loads, installing interior Ductile Iron and PVC pipe, fitting copper and steel pipe, concrete formwork, and operating basic equipment. A drug screen and background check are required.

Salary Range: $22.00 To $25.00 Hourly

Position Summary

ACE is seeking Skilled Laborers for wastewater construction projects. This role is ideal for experienced individuals with 3–5 years of construction experience who are highly motivated, willing to travel, and ready to contribute to a safe and efficient work environment. Skilled Laborers perform essential construction support duties under the supervision of skilled tradespeople and occasionally work independently as their skills allow.

Key Responsibilities

• Rigging and handling of heavy loads.
• Installation of interior Ductile Iron Pipe and supports.
• Installation of interior PVC pipe and supports.
• Fitting of copper and steel pipe.
• Pipe testing.
• Construction of concrete formwork.
• Placement of reinforcing steel.
• Placing and finishing concrete.
• Stripping of concrete formwork.
• Rough carpentry, including building temporary wooden structures.
• Finish carpentry, including the installation of casework.
• Operation of basic equipment such as small backhoes, forklifts, and aerial lifts.
• Site and trench excavation and backfill.
• Laying of yard pipe.
• Surveying.
• Demolition.
• Unloading and storing of materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience on construction projects.
• Must have own transportation.
• Highly motivated, dependable, and willing to travel.
• Successful completion of drug screen and criminal background check required.

Routine use of construction tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), and basic operated equipment.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods, climb stairs/ladders, and lift heavy loads.

Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands/arms to handle tools, equipment, and materials.
