GENERAL SUMMARY:

Multi-skilled Construction Laborer for J.J. Taylor Companies, Inc. and National Equipment Dealers will be responsible for working on various projects. Builds and performs a variety of physical labor duties on construction projects including carpentry, drywall, tile, and paint. Minor Electrical and Plumbing skills preferred. Reports to Real Estate Development Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Builds and performs a variety of physical labor duties on construction projects.
• General carpentry skills required.
• Experience with drywall, tile/flooring, painting, plumbing, and electrical preferred.
• Experience with Smart devices, mounting TVs and hanging art required.
• Furniture Assembly experience required.
• Transfers from one task to another as directed.
• Punctuality, organization, and time management skills.
• Responsible for ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Attention to detail for following instructions accurately.
• Maintains a professional attitude.
• Maintains cleanliness and tidiness throughout tasks.
• Responsible for maintaining proper hand tools.

Additional Duties And Responsibilities:

• Performs any additional duties and special tasks assigned by Real Estate Development Manager.

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience:

• Laborer/Handyman experience: 5 years (Required)
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.

Working Conditions:

• Extensive travel required to various sites across Florida, Georgia, Carolinas, and Texas.
• Warehouse and office environment.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures and machinery with moving parts.
• Some possible exposure to outside weather conditions, including wet and/or humid conditions, electrical shock, loud noise, fumes, explosives, chemicals, and other toxicants.
