EDWARDS AND SON CONSTRUCTION LLC in Gaithersburg, MD seeks a reliable Skilled Laborer for our field team. You will perform general construction tasks, operate hand and power tools safely, assist with installation of fixtures, and help service mobile trailers and site structures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction (Mobile Trailer) is preferred.
• Familiarity with various tools and machinery used in skilled labor tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Assist in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures.
• Responsible for installing AC/Heater window units in mobile units (40ft, double-wide, and storage containers).
• Managed customer service calls across the DMV and the Tri-state metropolitan areas. (Traveling involves)
• Diagnose and solve problems, such as malfunctioning systems, and communicate issues to clients, vendors, and office staff.
• Responsible for interior and exterior work, painting, patching, roofing, repairing damaged floors on mobile trailer units on customer sites
• Responsible for repairing framing, drywall, trim, and flooring for residential/ commercial customers.
